Party - Southern Style

Bar-B-Que pork chops, smoke links, hot dogs, potato salad, chips and dip and a cooler full of cokes, family and friends...party-southern style.

Speed cleaning/remodeling kept me from posting about our wonderful Italian dinner. My middle brother that lives in Kansas City, Missouri came for a weekend visit.

We had a great time. It was our first pool party. The guest were Clayton & Dianne, Mr. & Mrs. Butler, Andy(brother) & Amanda, Randall & Lisa, all the kids, and M&M's friend Julia. I could tell you that we used, yellow and orange stripe table cloths, pool lights for the pool, napkins folded just so, beautiful platters of bar-b-q, etc. We partied southern-style. Yes, I had the table cloth, $1, ripped straight out of the package, people had to bring their own lawn chairs, the platters were my old cookie sheets covered with foil...keepin' it real in Wynne.

I will have an Italian dinner for you all this week. We sort-of had one on Thursday, but, with all the speed cleaning/remodeling going on it was straight out of the box.

Speed cleaning/remodeling: you all know what I mean, relatives are coming that you haven't seen in years, you all clean like mad people, paint a little, etc. In the south, we move the washers off the front porch, throw away the pool box sitting in your yard for 3 weeks, mow yards and find lost vehicles, (kidding).
