6th Grade Strikes Again!

Poor, poor Mary Margaret. She ended up in Study Hall yesterday when she was supposed to be in Social Studies. She said that it took a little while for the teacher to realize that she was not in her class that period, so she was late to Social Studies. She said that she cried. I bet she pays better attention to her schedule this time around!

Edline caught her attention. She brought every bit of her homework home with her this time and she actually wrote down what they did in each class... I almost fainted...

She has one class that shares an airconditioner with another classroom, so her math class is always hot. She said that her teacher told them she had a fan to use. Mary Margaret was thinking about those big box fans we use at home. She was disappointed. Mrs. Hicks brought out a 6 inch round fan. Mary Margaret said that she didn't think it put out any air, it was a waste of time!

She also has a 7th grade boy following her around wanting to "go out". Her reaction... "I think he's too old for me!" Whoop Whoop!

The green letters are in honor of Mary Margaret's bad day. Green is her favorite color! Thank you Dianna for the FERGIE CD, our ride to school is so much more "COOL" now, especially when we pull up the JR. High with cool music playing! The girls love FERGIE!

Frist Day of School

Taylor leaving for the 5th grade. Her teachers are Mrs. Turner (we love) and Mrs. Williams (new teacher, minister's wife, we loving that too.) Mary Margaret leaving for the first day of 6th grade. Yes, Julia and Mary Margaret tried to wear the same outfits!

Whose is supposed to cry on the first day of school, the parent or the child. In my case ME. I cried like a baby when Mary Margaret got out looking so grown up and just a baby. She has been so calm since Sunday. Trying to be so grown up. She just looked absolutely beautiful.

I was finished crying by the time we made it around to the intermediate school to drop Taylor off at the 5th grade. I did not cry. She was beautiful too and looking more grown up than she did all summer. I'm not scared for her...

Mary Margaret Butler, Taylor Butler and Delani Brawner

Delani and Charlene met us in Branson for shopping. Here are the girls at the store Hollister. Left to Right MM, Taylor and Delani. Isnt my little sister growing up fast? Charlene and I got into trouble in this store for taking photographs. The "manager" told us that she could take away our cameras if we took anymore photos...it was against store policy. (You all know that Charlene and I plan to sell these photos and make a profit off of Hollister.) PLEASE. It was very dramatic.

More Pictures

Mary Margaret loved the turtles. This tank had about 20-30 turtles in it and this one in the picture loved to have his picture taken.
Friday morning, we left Branson and headed for Mountain View, Arkansas. We try to make it to Blanchard Springs each summer. This is Taylor on her "CHEAP" float that lost its air right after the picture was taken.

Back from VACATION!!!!

Here we are on VACATION at the Aquirum in Springfield, Missouri. We spent Wednesday in Springfield at the Bass Pro Shop and the Museum.
Springfield, Missouri at the museum
Josh went with us and made a new friend!

Both the girls and I tried out the Water Chute in Branson. They lasted the whole hour...me only 1/2 hour. Josh took some pictures of me...but I'm afraid some of you would die of laughter...so those will be kept private!
