Essay: What We Learned About Italy

Italy

- Most of the Ancient Statues in Italy are naked

- They were amazed that there was an actual city built in the water and they realized that we have seen this city on The Bachelor.

- We watched a video about Italy and found out that the Leaning Tower of Pisa is in fact leaning more and is closed to the public for repairs and rebracing.

- Mary Margaret recognized some of the paintings, she learned about them in art this year. She was really impressed that some of these painting were on ceilings.

- Mary Margaret decided that it is a romantic city, she's all into romance now.

- The food is mostly pasta and wonderful sauces, tomato sauces, Alfredo sauces, etc. Mary Margaret found out that olives were used in a lot of Italian dishes, she loves to eat them plain.

- Taylor was excited about there being so many dishes that included shrimp. She wants to make salad with shrimp and Italian dressing.

- The girls want to go there for vacation this summer. You know I got started on the passports, bought the tickets and all. NOT.

- Taylor wants the next country to be Europe.

My two chefs and the owner of the kitchen. I tried for the Italian make-up from the 80's. It is very hi-larious. The girls insisted that I be in the picture.
I use Bertolli. I love the spices in their stuff. I saute' my mushrooms and onions in the Bertollis Classico Olive Oil and stir in a little Pizza Magic Seasoning.

Brown the hamburger meat while the noodles boil. When the hamburger is browned I add the Bertolli sauce, 1 can of tomato paste, mushrooms, and onions and let it simmer in the electric skillet for about 15 minutes on low. Last I throw it in with the noodles and mix it all up.

We top it with Parmesan and Cheddar cheese.

Garlic bread:(not pictured) I buy the already seasoned New York style Texas toast. Cook in the oven as directed, last 5 minutes I sprinkle shredded mixed cheeses on top.
