Girlie Girl

Mary Margaret attended a Teen retreat at our church this weekend. She enjoyed it. She'll post on her blog this afternoon.

This is the dress we ran out and grabbed Saturday afternoon for the formal dinner part of girlie girl. She failed to tell me that she would be needing to dress for the "fancy" dinner. We don't wear dresses in the winter to church, too much rain and mud for all that, so her dresses are packed away and too summery. I thought she did a great job of picking one out. (I liked it first and she didn't, but the new sales clerk, senior in high school told her how hot she looked and you guessed it...MM flew to the register).

In this picture I wanted to get a good upclose without the glasses because she actually had her makeup done so pretty. I told her to quit the stiff junk. She said, and I quote..."Taking my glasses off causes this kind of smile and I can't control it." She has a lot of undiagnosed diseases I guess. To name a few... only smart once a day, her glasses are for seeing, she can't read words with them, taking off the glasses causes her fact to freeze, and dry shaving causes some kind of disease...there are many more, not enough time.
