Hello readers! I survived a Jr. High Swim Party. This was the 2nd Back to School Swim Party here at the Butler house. I think there were about 30 kids here last night.
*I took tons of pictures
*hollered at them twice during the scary movie
*THERE WAS NO DRAMA (imagine that)
*they went through tons of chips and drinks like a tornado
*10 PM I began to worry that some parents might come back for their kids
*pooped by the time everything was cleaned up last night
*group pictures I took did not turn out
*cleaned up spilled drinks only once
*looked out the kitchen window and saw crazy looking line dancing
There were
*two party crashers
*guys
*gals
*best friends
*twins
*volleyball players
*dunking
*nerf water gun fights
*noodle fights
*chicken fights
*the fight of kids against mosquitoes
*girls showing off their flipping skills
*laughing
*screaming
*plots of revenge
*one lost pair of flip flops
*one lost cell phone
*lots items left behind
Not one child was hurt, no one got mad (except me when I had to holler twice), no one left here without saying thank you and saying they had fun, everyone left tired.
I sent them all home with a nice party favor...
this party favor did not cost me a dime...
plenty of mosquito bites!
Did not find the flip flops
Tim found the cell phone, yay TIM!!!!!
P.S. Did you all notice that the drug Dr. Pepper was within my reach? I WAS STRONG. VERY STRONG.
