Meet Amanda, my niece...

I met her when she was only 2 and a half. She stole my heart with her big smile and those big beautiful eyes.

She's having a baby in March.

I feel really old.

A great aunt...

Baby blankets to make, maybe some cute little dresses, I might be just a little bit excited, maybe.

I might have to break out the old sewing machine...

I have some curtains to make first, for someone who has not complained once that I haven't made them in the last year...

For a very, very long time I have suggested the name Kaye, Jr. to all my friends as a possible baby name, even hinted to a few family members, no such luck.

So, AMANDA, incase you read this...Kaye, Jr. is a lovely name. Remember all the times I let you sleep with me when we camped, I rolled your hair, did your makeup, fixed your hair just like mine.... no pressure.
