Happy Wednesday everyone!
Freckles is excited that its Wednesday! Pepper in the background is trying her best to eat all his dog food since Freckles ate all of her cat food.
This morning, I was up early, had no house work to do because Taylor did it all yesterday. She was bored so much she did my housework. She says I'm not all that fun, I'm boring. I told her that we are doing the same exact things we always do, just one person short. I told her she misses her sister, she said nope. I think she's fibbing.
What did I do this morning? My personal landscaper finished filling all the flower beds with dirt, so I planted plants. I planted 5 hostas, 6 hypoestes, and 1 hydrangea all in the new flower beds in the front yard.
This is a picture of the flower bed in the back yard that fills a space at the bottom of the steps to the pool and deck. I still have to put some lattice to put behind the flower bed to hide the view under the deck.
The hosta you see in this picture is an old one. My Mamaw Brawner helped me divide one of hers years ago and I brought it home, about 10 years ago. What you see here is the 4th divide. I put the other 3 divides in the front yard. I noticed some new growth sprouting up from the spot I divided it.
World Changers Update
Mary Margaret is starving. This is a child who eats enough to starve a bird. Monday when the sponsoring church brought out lunch to the workers Mary Margaret was first in line. She said they brought turkey, ham and Bologna sandwiches and she ate FIVE of them. This kid will barely eat half of one at home. Yesterday they brought fruit and hamburgers, she ate 3 hamburgers and 4 bananas and she was having fried chicken last night when we hung up.
She's been scraping paint and painting. Monday during their water break, she sat on her ladder and feel asleep. Her leader had to wake her up. She said she thought she was having a bad dream cause her leader is Chinese and she can't understand him. Someone kicked a bucket of paint beside her hair (which would be her shoulder). I thought she meant she had paint in her hair, not so. Tuesday she did the same job and almost fell off the ladder because her work buddy Seth wasn't holding the ladder. She says she is sore. What has she learned this week so far? Boys are stupid and do many stupid things. She said one of the McFadden boys from our church duck taped a Dr. Pepper can to each of his hands and then no one would help him get them off. The boys are loud and some of the older ones talk bad about the girls they have dated.
She so needed this week. I'm glad she's finding out what boys are like FOR REAL.

My appologies if my previous comment sounded malicious. I will say now though that I find your blog pleasant and a facinating read! The reason I started reading in the first place was to find out if Baptists really are the way the media portrays them to be (eg; the film Jesus Camp and stories in the media).
ps; I did find Jesus! He was hiding behind the couch the whole time :)
