GNO (Girls Night Out) At Twitter

First, I have found a blog. It is THE romance blog of this year! If I could give this young lady an award, I would. Her name is Cordy and she pours her heart out about a young man that she is madly in love with and he has no idea. I am completely hooked on what might happen next. AND IT IS G RATED! Which means that YARM13 YOL can read and I don't' have to worry! Stop by this blog that may be the best REAL LIFE SOAP OPERA (besides my own life). Cordy at www.mysuperhopelessromance.blogspot.com

GNO

If any of you missed reading Carissa's Blog today, the topic for tonight's GNO is going to be your favorite Halloween and post a picture. I'm skipping the picture part because THE FUNERAL HOME WAS BUSY and all my pictures are at home. What do I have at home? DIAL UP INTERNET BECAUSE I LIVE IN THE COUNTRY AND REFUSE TO SATELLITE AT MY HOUSE. So, I'll bore you with my favorite Halloweens.

My most favorite Halloween with the girls would be in 2003. We were so broke, the mice snubbed our house. The girls were so little and so cute. 101 Dalmatians happened to their most favorite movie at this time...so yes they were 101 Dalmatians. No extra money for those fancy costumes. My creative wheels started churning. I remembered this little trick of cutting potatoes and painting them, using them as stencils. We got the white trash bags, cut potatoes in half, dipped them in the black paint and spotted up the trash bags, made some arm holes and holes for the head. We were set to go. What about ears? I grabbed up some of the girls white pantie hose (already snagged) and dotted them with the potatoes and put them on the girls heads to make the ears. We colored their noses with eyeliner and made some cute little whiskers. They were adorable. I believe that this was the only Halloween that Taylor loved her costume and did not cry.

As they have gotten older, we travel to White Hall, about 30 min from here to Parker Homestead, which is an operating old time "village" with corn mazes, headless horsemen, haunted woods, hot dog roast, kettle corn, and scary stories. I love this time of year. We usually go as a big group and TIM even ventures out with us. I'm looking forward to it this year. Nicole will be coming down that weekend. (By the way, we spent the weekend in Little Rock with her, Thanks for putting us up and showing us a great time Nicole!) Parker Homestead has a website somewhere, I'll find it and post the link...

How did we miss this post. You gave GNO a shout out and we missed it. You rock!

Thanks for participating. You are like a founding member really. And, you even have a list of other GNO gals in your sidebar. Again, rockin' the house :).

Thanks Kaye! Did you see that you were featured on our site the other day??? I hope I sent you an e-mail letting you know. I am sooooo behind on stuff.

Hope you are having happy weekend.
