Mammaw's Pickles
Just having a "missing my mammaw" moment. She always made the best pickles around this time of the year. They were salty...those of you who say I use too much salt...Mammaw is the reason why. I used to sit on her counter in her "canning kitchen" eating pickles, covered with pink caladryle (spelled wrong i'm sure) from "skeeter bites" while she canned. My job was to eat the remainder of last years pickles. Sometimes we even went to Aunt Pearls and finished up her pickles too. It was a tough job, someone had to do it.

2 Vacation Bible Schools in 1 Week!!!!!!
The second Vacation Bible School that they all three attended was the one at McElroy United Methodist Church in Wynne. They had a blast there too. They did experiements with balloons, hot air, and made neat crafts. They made visor hats, hot air balloons, pinwheels, etc. We went Sunday to watch them perform a song that they learned. Mary Margaret's best friend Julia Merrill attends McElroy Methodist and invited her and Taylor and we invited Philip. I think that they all had a great time. I did not get good pictures of VBS Lift Off at McElroy, they were too dark.

Father's Day
Josh and the Man himself.....Mr. Butler
We all gathered at the Butler's for Father's Day "Lunch" on Sunday. We had the usual ham, mashed potatoes, baked mac and cheese, baked beans, salad, mac salad, and a to die for cake made by Dianne. I talked to my dad for a while, his work is going slow in Texas. Charlene and Delani drove down there for the weekend. Delani is playing ball and she said she has hit a couple of balls over! (I don't know what she hit them over) Maybe she's taking after Andy who is still playing. Talked to Andy Sunday morning early, he was working on Father's Day. That seems to be all any of us do anymore. Grown ups are no FUN!
