Last night, our local historical society held a fund raising gala. I had planned on taking Taylor but as her luck would have it, she wound up into some serious trouble and grounded. So I took my husband. Yes. Shocking. He went. Dress clothes and all. I wish I had thought to take his picture, as he was not hiding the look of extreme boredom very well. He was the only guy at the table of 5 ladies. He did score an awesome stake dinner and a fashion show. He was REALLY excited about the fashion show.
The girls that modeled were the JPC (Junior Progressive Club) girls. Mary Margaret was one of the models.
They modeled clothes starting in ancient Egypt all the way to 2011. They were fantastic.
Most of the girls modeled 4 outfits. Mary Margaret did the 1890's, 1920's, and the 1940's and then choice of her favorite.
My favorite part? Picking up my husband all dressed up for a date.
It's how we roll here at Butler Manor!
