My Birthday

My day was average yesterday.
I turned 37.
I noticed that my feet look old.

The old saying "raising teenagers is like trying to nail Jello to the wall" is still true, thought maybe with age it would get better.

NOT

I made people in the house mad, well, actually one person. Mary Margaret expected me to make cookies that she volunteered to make for Science Club and I made her make them.

I should have just made them myself.

My kitchen looked like a dump this morning.
Cookie dough on the counter, floor, microwave, living room floor and what little she tried to clean up, she used a drying towel, folded it and put it back in the drawer like a fresh clean towel.

I shouldn't be so hard on her because she was so tired! It was like 9 pm when she mentioned the cookies had to be made, that she needed zip lock bags to put them in, and that I needed more butter to make them with.

But she was so tired. The science extravaganza just wore her out.

AND because she had to make cookies that she volunteered for, she didn't even get to text Nathan after seeing him all day at school.

Boo Hoo

Wah! Sorry but that calls down the thunder when someone volunteers your time for their thing. On your birthay no less. Tsk, tsk MM.

And eww on folding dirty towel and putting it back.

She must not realize the older we get the crazier we get for putting up with other people's stuff. According to my crazy level I should be 55. ;)
