4th of July Butler Style

4th of July has been celebrated at Butler Manor in grand style for the last few years. Swimming, fantastic food, amazing fireworks, and great company. This shin-dig gets bigger every year!


Friends and Family is what it's all about.

Here's the 4th of July events...
Invite your sisterinlaw down for a weekend of fun in the sun
(a.k.a. work her like a dog and say thanks)

-work like a dog to get house clean, pool clean, yard clean and grill clean.
-break a board on the deck
-fix board
-umbrellas fall over
-fix umbrellas
-snake skins fall out of umbrellas and Im calm
-FROG leaps out of umbrella and I scream and run like a little girl
"GET.IT.OFF."
-Rest and get blood pressure down...high because of a stinking frog
-Taylor comes in kitchen...huge bangs go off...like a long string of firecrackers
(she dropped a box of snap pops...so not funny)
-grill 4 pork shoulders, 36 smoke sausages, 48 hot dogs, make cheese dip,
-run to town for a few things....in about .....one hundred trips
-all is done and the party is rockn
-cat beats up the visiting dog
-visiting dog runs around wild cause it got beat up
(killer cat - Pepper)

-brother in law holds baby over the railing....sil-dianne calls him Michael Jackson...rotflmbo

-watermellons

-swimming and eating are over and time for the fire works

-oh...lets not forget....SMOKE BOMBS

-brotherinlaw sets up fireworks
-starts shooting
-mosquitoes come out of hiding
-people realize that they should have brought a CAN of OFF not the OFF CLIP.
-OFF CLIP DOES NOT WORK on Arkansas bred mosquitoes

-natural mosquito control (BATS) are not doing their job this year
-fire works fall over and shoot everywhere
-Tim runs to woods to put out fire
-kids run screaming they've been hit maybe
-brother in law moves fire works further from the house
-fireworks fall over again
-people run for cover
-people start to choke on mosquitoes
-everyone runs for their vehicles saying...."Thanks, we had a great time got to go"
-even the baby had a good time!
