Dear Mario

Dear Mario,

Hey Dude! I've missed you. I haven't seen you since our Nintendo 64 bit the dust. It's been nice visiting with you for hours on end. Just wondering, has anyone ever complained about their controller thumb going numb? (I could have a slight addiction). Luigi, it's good to see you too.

I have a small problem. Playing two players is annoying now. You have to play at the same time. I love my girls, BUT, they are not good at Mario Brothers. I have to wait on them and that gets me killed. Taylor is slow and thinks it's super funny to bounce on my player ALL THE TIME. She laughs so hard she cries as she bounces, bounces, bounces. Mary Margaret is a spastic player. She's all over the place and gets killed constantly, then floats around in that stupid bubble causing me to die, die, die. They are holding me back, Mario!

Your friend...Player #1...

Thinking I would be slick, I got up early to play this morning by myself. Mary Margaret had her radar turned on and was up lighting fast. Tim laughed really evil-like at me as he was leaving to duck hunt. I tell Mary Margaret, "Honey, it's too early for you to be up, go back to bed and I'll get you up in time to shower for church." She says... "Oh no. I love to play Mario with you and I'm staying up!!!"

Wellllll now, it's 5:00 am and she's going to stay up and play Mario with me. Humph.
So I let her. We played ONE, yes, ONE world until 7 when she got in the shower and then I had Mario all to myself...

Tomorrow...Zack vs. Mary Margaret...Mario Brothers

Our last Christmas get-to-gether was with my best friend Dianna and her girls. We had a ball eating pizza and visiting! 15 years, we're getting old Dianna...
