The soup (yes I tried it) was great. I should warn you, it makes a lot of soup! I wanted potato soup for myself and I made it. We have lots of left over soup! Mary Margaret learned how to peel potatoes. She also learned how to use my ancient "whopper chopper". (I have not bought a food processor...just another appliance that takes up my limited counter/cabinet space) Mary Margaret thought it was fun. By the way, the "You are ruining my 13 year old life" child is BACK! We had a fun (not) night.

My oldest is 10. And I keep getting snippets of what life will be like with my own "you're ruining my life" 13 year old... not pretty.
