Pictures from Glennallen, Alaska

My little brother has got the picture fever. I'm Loving It! His dog Amos is just the cutest little thing. I have to say that Scottie is doing pretty good with his camera. I edited these for him, changed them to black and white and played with the contrast just a little. You know I'm a sucker for the black and white pictures, the are always my favorite.

Has anyone come up with idea's on how to get rid of POTATO BUGS? I still have them and dislike them tremendously.

I will probably never like potato bugs. I do not like sharing my home with them.

Yea I know. I figure I'm way fair game. Pretty scenery up here this time of year. You can ask kaye.... You can literally take qa picture every where you turn your head every second of the day. And it's different every day with light or more or less snow or wind,it's just great. If you ever can and you love pretty snow scenery, bring your self to alaska atleast once. Even when you've lived here 10 years, it's never old.

We got 11 more inches today where I am in alaska. Further up on what they call the "Hill Side" where the really rich people live they have gotten 4 more feet in the last 3 days. I wrk here, and live in Glennallen, that hill side by the way is at elevation of 8 thousand feet, "hill side" more like mountain side. So Valdez where I lived from 04-06 got 65 inches in 2 days this week on top of the bunch they had. The last year I lived there we topped over 14 feet of snow tru the winter season.

So, I'm heade home to glennallen for the 2 week break and I leave in the morning. They say Glenn Allen will get 12 inches between 7 Am and 3 PM tomorrow, and the mountain pass I go thru 160 miles will get 20 to 30 inches in the same time frame, it already has 5 to 7 feet in highway elevation. So it should be a fun trip and hopefully I hit the 3 hour window of sun light in the mountains for pictures.

if so they will be on thier way.

I would never dream of complaining cause Kaye’s skills are RAD in the photo editing. That’s right I just rocked "RAD" and I'm not afraid to throw down the hard core linguistics either, I'm hard like that. But I digress, you'd think she'd add one of those cute lil full color puppy shots, she made him look so proper and astute, and thats cool, way cool, but he is only 6 months, throw a cute playful puppy shot up there for them SIS....

You guys didn’t know I knew words as big as linguistics did you. I did have to copy it into word to get it spelt right, but I knew the word, I'm physically patting myself on the back right now...

Just for the record, not complaining, I love what she does to the pics.

Scottie.
