Relaxing Weekend!!!

The new bathroom mirror! It's sooo much bigger than the old one! I hope to have the bathroom completed before Mary Margaret's birthday! Lets see how that works out!

We had a slow relaxing weekend! Upward's basketball Friday night, Saturday was slow...I bought some material at Wal-mart to make new curtains for my windows in the kitchen and for a new table runner. We rented movies, one was Daddy Day Camp...better than what I expected it to be! I rode out to Laughridge Cemetery, where Papaw is, it was really pretty...the care taker was out there and had leveled the graves (Papaw and Tommye's) and the leaves were all cleaned up.

Sunday, we were invited by my Uncle Randall and Aunt Lisa to their church, Ridgewood Baptist in Forrest City (this used to be 2nd Baptist out on Old Madison Road) The service was the first one in their new building on Highway 1. The building is beautiful! This was the first time that I had heard their preacher (not counting funerals he has participated in at the funeral home), It was a very good message on worship...the music was great and we were out of there at 12:oo....wow we are not used to that anymore...Wynne Baptist is around 12:30.........Randall and Lisa's son, Taylor Clark, had an accident this weekend...he was at a bon fire and was burned...2nd degree he said...baseball starts in 3 weeks at CBC in Conway where he goes to College...I know he is upset, his leg might not be ready

Sunday afternoon was dinner at the Butler's and then......Extreme Home Make Over...I think that I spotted Andy one time during the framing... the builder Kevin is the one that Andy contracts with, I was hoping to see Andy more but...oh well. Andy said that the Design Team spent very little time on the site. This morning he told me that their local chanel did a 2 hour special and he was interviewed...they are supposed to send me a copy. The frame work was done in the backyard, they built the entire frames, walls and roofs in 2 days and put the house together in 23 hours. Fast Work....even though we didn't get to see much of Andy, it was fun to watch and know that he had a hand in something good. Made us miss them all.

Here are a few pictures from this weeks game.
Taylor at the Upwards cheerleading...isn't she cute?
Mary Margaret at the Upwards Cheerleading...
This is my nephew Philip Billings...we left at half time during his game, so we did not get to see his team win their first game of the season! By the way...they bought a house in Parkin and will be moving soon!
