Everyone always wants to know what my brothers are doing now......I just received this from Amanda, Andy's wife. I had no idea that he was doing this. Pretty Cool!
Hey just wanted everyone to see the Extreme Home Makeover house that Andy built.
He called every good framing crew he knew and got about 80 guys out there to help that included our guys. We first went out Monday around noon and started putting together the roof trusses so that it wouldn't take as long when we got started. Then we got there at 5 o'clock am Tuesday morning and should have been setting steel but the concrete guys hadn't finished there part so our guys had to pull forms off and help them before we could get started. As you can see in the pics they where still pouring rock and concrete. Then finally at 9:30 am we started rolling floor joist and laying floor sheeting. and then come the walls it only took us 2hours to get the floor and walls up then we where ready for the trusses. At that point we had brought the schedule from 4 hours behind to 1 hour ahead the all the other framework crews started leaving us and it was just our crew there till the end which wasn't until 5 o'clock the next morning it was crazy but our guys never gave up even though they where cold and tried we finally made it to the end. We did windows and had to do things inside the house for inspection and punch. It was an experience we will never forget.
