SnowThunder

Sleet fell all night last night, I got up this moring thinking...the girls will not have to go to school!!!!! I WAS WRONG! None of the sleet stuck....off to school we go! The schools in Jonesboro and Memphis are closed today....these kids in Wynne seem to miss all the fun!!!!!!!!!!!

The rain started about 8:30 AM this morning, I was looking out the funeral home windows, thinking about the day ahead, when I heard thunder...

My boss said that he thought there was going to be snow today.....

One co-worker yelled out....."That was SNOWTHUNDER you heard!"

I thought that was funny.

I found out that there is such a thing as Snowthunder...first time I've heard about it.

Alot of you have been asking about how my mother's family is doing...here they are, right after papaws funeral. Randall and Lisa's church fed the family and this photo was taken there.

Left to right: Lamar Clark, Susan Smith (mom), Willie Mae Clark (mammaw) JoAnn Wood, and Randall Clark.

Randall is doing great, we see them and hear from them alot. I think that their daughter Christina is going to go skating with my girls this Friday after UPwards.

Haven't heard from Lamar or JoAnn. Heard from my mom one time since JoAnn left the 4th of January.

Just a Few Pictures

Both of the girls in one picture! Aren't they cute? I AM so sick right now. Friday night I ran fever all night, Saturday I had to work, and Sunday, I did absolutly nothing. It took me all day to get ready to grab a few groceries at 5 pm from hays..... Those of you who know me well, I SLEPT UNTIL 10 AM....you know I'm sick if I slept that late!
Tim took Taylor duck hunting Sunday evening. Earlier Sunday morning he killed 3, 2 mallards and one woodduck. The boat you see in the picture is a boat that Tim camoflauged. He did a great job. I wanted to put his picture on here with his boat...but I'll be good and mind him...he said no.

Today, January 24, 2008, the work on the bathroom begins. I have purchased everything I need (according to little brother Andy). I wonder how long it will take to finish? After that, we tackle our bedroom, hard wood flooring! This summer...I plan to ad a walk in closet and 2nd bathroom onto our bedroom

We'll see!

God may have created man before woman, but there is always a rough draft before the masterpiece!
Just thought that needed to be shared with everyone!

Change......

We ate lunch Sunday at Mazzio's after Church. Dianna and her girls met us there. The above picture is of Mary Margaret and Dianna's daughter..Taylor

There was a time that my mother, told me...."You are not going to read at the table..." Now we have to tell them to STOP TEXTING while we are eating! Mary Margaret and Taylor Grace are checking out Mary Margaret's phone.
This is of Taylor Butler....she got a new hair cut Thursday....doesn't she look cute! Cheering on Friday night at the Wynne Baptist Church.
Saturday, we went to the Miss Thunderbird Pagent (Cross County High School). We went to watch Katherine, the girl friend of my nephew John...the one going to Iraq. She won 12th grade class beauty...she is number 11(2nd one from the left).

Upwards at Wynne Baptist Church

Mary Margaret she is a mess! (I could never get Taylor to stay still long enough for a picture)
Upwards has finally started! The girls cheered their first game on Friday, January 11. They were fun to watch! By the end of the night, the nerves were gone and they were cheering in full force!

Mr. Butler fell last week, hit the ground with his face...as you can see...they put him in the hospital to run a few test to see why he blacked out...his heart rate is low and they think that he will get a pace maker when he sees his heart doctor this week.

Taylor, J. W. Butler, Mary Margaret....for those who might not know...J. W. is Tim's dad.
Mary Margaret on this end.....Taylor is in the back with the pom poms in front of her face (bet that narrowed it down!) She's the 5th one from the end.
The girls patiently waiting for Bro. Matt to finish his testimony so they can show off their dance moves. Mary Margaret is to the left of Bro. Matt and Taylor is in the middle of the back row.
Philip and his team waiting to start the game! Isn't he just the cutest thing you ever saw....
The boys played hard...Philip almost made a basket, the ball circled the rim and looked like it was going in and the fell out. (I missed it...his mom told me about it. I was trying to take his picture) WAY TO GO #50!!!!!!!!!!!!
The senior pastor, Bro. Bob Wilson, is "B-Ball Bob" he introduces the teams and the cheer leaders. It's cute...I'm hoping to get a good picture of B-Ball Bob...it's too funny.

We have been taking it easy and getting into the swing of school. Today, the girls start their piano lessons. They are excited. My free time seems to be getting less and less...
