This weekend was Alyssa's 4th Birthday party. The girls had Julia over and Nicole and Alyssa spent the night too!!!! They all had a blast. Saturday was the pizza party and the swimming party. I'll say the pictures speak for themselves.

More Swimming and Activities in July

Wynne Baptist Church sponsored several block parties last week. We went to the one off of Martin Drive Extended. The girls had a blast. The above picture is Taylor Butler, Mallory ??, Don't Know, Mary Margaret Butler and (M & M's Boyfried) Andrew Stroud. He lives in the neighborhood and is the reason we went. There was food and games. Below is a picture of Mary Margaret on a blow up game that they all loved. You wear this vest with a bungee cord attached to it and try to get farther than your partner does before the bungee cord pulls you back. In this picture Mary Margaret is getting pulled back. For the record, Taylor had a boyfriend on the way to the block party, they looked each other up in their annuals and decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend for the block party... he decided that she was too fat for him and broke up with her when we got there. His name was Chance Whitby....he is on my list!

Mary Margaret and Andrew Stroud at Wynne Swimland. Weren't they a cute couple? I say "weren't" because now it's over. :( Andrew took the news well, but Mary Margaret just wasn't "feeling it" anymore. (2 weeks!!!!!) The romances are getting longer!

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

The first picture is of all of the grandchildren except Ben. Mary Margaret in front of her favorite Great American Race Car and Taylor in front of her favorite. Taylor's dream car is the mustang, Mary Margaret wants a mercedes, keep dreaming!!!!! The Great Race cars stopped in Wynne on the 4th. The girls begged to stop on our way home from the Funeral Home.

Had to work a little on the 4th! Otherwise very quiet 4th for us. We all got together at the Butler's and ate and visited. Then went home and settled down and watched movies. Back to work on Thursday! I hate it when the holiday falls in the middle of the week!

Ratatouille

Last night me and the girls (Taylor, Alyssa, Mary Margaret and Julia Merrill) and Philip went to see the movie Rataouille! Great movie!!! Before the movie we went to get our usual stash of candy at Wal-Mart...

Kids say the cutest things...while at Wal-Mart....Alyssa founda penny on the ground. Julia asked her if the penny was on heads or not. Alyssa said...."NO IT WAS ON THE GROUND, SILLY" Wasn't that cute? Alyssa really likes Julia. The movie was over around 9:30 and headed out to Mrs. Butler's house to watch the fireworks.

Community Baptist Church Vacation Bible School

The kids enjoyed this Bible School more than the big church (my girls did anyway). They did a lot of outdoor water games, catch the wet sponge, water balloons, etc. David Yates is the pastor of this church. They had a great time.

We also had a great weekend. Nicole brought Alyssa down and spent the night with us and then stayed one more night. Nicole and Alyssa went to the last night of Vacation Bible School, we rented movies, went shopping in Jonesboro on Saturday and went swimming Sunday at the pool. First time I've been in the pool since last year at Vacation! I really enjoyed it. Tommorrow is the 4th of July and YES I HAVE TO WORK Whoop Whoop!
