Mr. Butler will be having a stint put in his right arm today and some testing to see if there is any lower blockage. I thought it was a St. Bernard's but Tim says the NEA of Jonesboro (old Methodist Hospital).
Also...
I have some recent pictures of 3 generations on my mother's side...sort of. In the picture is my great grandmother (Myrtle Clark) my mother (Susan) and my grandmother (Willie Mae Clark). The reason that I say "sort of" is because my grandmother is her ex-daughter-in-law, but serves as the 2nd generation, and they are still very close.
My mother and grandmother visited "Mom Myrtle" this past weekend at her nursing home in Memphis, she will be 94 on her birthday in September. Don't you all know that this lady has lived through some of the worst times and best times in our history. I'm sure she could have told us many stories when she was still with us mentally. She married my great grandfather John Clark when my grandfather (John Logan) was around the age of 7 or 8. She raised my grandfather and his sister and had three of her own. She helped raise and pick cotton and lost her husband when her children were young. Mom Myrtle did without many things in her life to make the lives of her children better, and I'm sure because of pride. All of us do without things in our lives not realizing that "someone" wants to help. Her family pitched in when they could and when she let them finally know that she needed the help. I'm sorry to say that I only remember few visits with this lady, sitting on her front steps in Caldwell (the big city) watching one of my cousins (Chris) mow her yard, playing cowboy and indians with my brothers, using the butane tank for a horse, and of course watching her cook a Christmas dinner at my Pappaw Clarks house out on Highway 284. I do remember that she was a graceful lady and very pretty. I hope that you all enjoy the picture. I know that some of you haven't seen my mother in a long time...still got that brown hair....ha ha ha ha just kidding.

Happy 4th of July!!!!
This past Monday, Mike Brawner had a birthday party for Aunt Dorothy and the girls and I went and had a great time. I hope to be putting her birthday picture on this page too. Sandy and Mike did a wonderful job with all the cooking!
The celebrations have started. The girls and I traveled to Lead Hill this weekend for some good food, family and fireworks! We all had a blast. Ann, Jerry, Marni, Krikland, Karagen, ME, M & M, Taylor all met up at Dads. The kids swam and the the adults, ate and visited. Ann and her group had to leave before the fireworks to catch the Ferry home (sounds like the old days). Corey and Craig wowed the rest of us with a beautiful show of fireworks. The girls and I traveled home Sunday in time for Ribs by Tim at the Butler's. Tuesday our plan is to relax, cook some more, and watch the fireworks at the 4th in the Forrest in Jonesboro. Enjoy the pictures.
Group picture: Jerry, Ann (green), Marni (red) Charlene, Dad, Mary Margaret, Delani, Taylor, Kirkland and Karagen. ( I was taking the picture)
